Finally reconnecting with people I'd thought I'd never see again.

I've been meaning to post for a couple weeks now. Something resembling a good run down of what I've been up to, the people I've been hanging with, and all the things that have been happening. Not gonna.

I just finished watching Jarhead for the first time (I can already hear the collective gasps of disbelief). There are two reasons why I generally try not to watch movies like Jarhead by myself. One - I ALWAYS analyse my life after the movie has finished, and always feel so insignificant afterward. I get depressed and feel like I'm gong nowhere and not "living" my life, just simply existing. Two - I get so into them. I cry when I shouldn't coz I just cant suppress the emotions in myself.

I loved Jarhead. Dont get me wrong. I love watching movies that make me think about the world around me, and where I possibly fit in. The last time I did this it was 3 years ago and I almost joined the Australian Navy. Sometimes I still think I should. It's something I think everyone should do, just once, but I'm sure many of you would disagree with me on that. Maybe one day I will join the Military. Who knows.

PS - I met a girl randomly last year. I'm extremely attracted to her...not the standard crush I get on people when I first get to know them...I have no idea how she feels. Sometimes it feels like there's something and other times I don't think she likes me like that...It's frightening...

My cat Oreo went missing on Christmas Day. I found him last night. He was dead behind our back fence. Judging from the state he was in I'd say he was most likely bitten by a snake. I'll be either getting him to my parents in the next day or so to bary him there or I'll be getting a shovel from them so I can do it here.

I've had Oreo for roughly 3 years now. He was the last kitten born at my parents house. His mother died a couple weeks after he was born so I had to raise him by hand. H'es basically been my baby boy ever since.

I'll miss you Oreo.
